URKO, started manufacturing furniture and building locks in 1927.

Later, a new line of Handtools for Woodworking, mainly the Clamping Tools, was incorporated.

Over the years, URKO has developped new and highly qualified products, meeting in his late stage the recognition of end users in more than 40 Countries worldwide; becoming an specialized leader in the clamping field.

Nowadays, URKO manufactures more than one million pieces per year and it’s a leader brand in the European clamping tools sector.

Currently, four different lines of Products are manufactured:

• Clamping and Fastening Tools.
• Wood Shaving Pulling Tools..
• Hacksaws Frames and Blades for Metal and industrial Snips.
• Furniture Locks.

One of the central points of URKO is the R+D+i department, where new products are conceived and developped, mainly in the Clamping field. The new families of clamps are a proof of this constant effort in innovation: the “Universal” Clamps, which break a long tradition of classic concepts; the High Performance Clamps, the Quick Clamps, the Hydraulique Clamping Mechanisms, etc. All of them with a reconigzed national and international prestige.

These developments are the consequence of URKO’s Philosophy, based on “the creation for end user service”; 0ur pragmatic effort in innovation provides new solutions, together with an important worktime and manual efforts reduction and creates Tools with the most ergonomically advanced designs.
